I was out looking for an ornament because our book club is doing a holiday ornament exchange this week.  I fell in love with the robot ornaments at a store called Gifted, in Ballard.  This is one of the several they had.  It’s not the one I bought for the exchange, though.  The more I look at it, the more I think it would be awesome to have a robot themed tree for Christmas.

I spent part of my evening shopping for toys online. We’re getting both my nephew and Janie’s 3-year-old cousin gifts and I decided I could find better toys online than any Target or Toys R Us. I wanted something fun and interesting and preferably not poison from China. Sorry China.

Our homeowner woes continue. I’m preparing our bathroom for new paint and vinyl floor tiles. As I pulled out the old vinyl tiling, what should appear? CRACKS! IN THE CEMENT FLOOR! FUCK YOU!
