Thank you! It was especially good for me to read as my husband told me in December that he did not love me enough to work on anything and just wanted a divorce. He didn't want to do the fight! I did, and he didn't. But now I'm glad, because as you write, the mark of a strong relationship, and by extension -- a mark of someone we all want to be with -- is that the person wants to be in the fight also. That they think you and the relationship are just as valuable and worth it. Bravo to you two, Janie and Uncouth: Keep up the good fight and the good love.
