This was probably taken sometime in the early spring of this year, based on the ever-evolving ways in which we tried to keep Gus contained in one part of the house (see the white board). This is one of my favorite Gus videos. I apologize in advance for my high-pitched puppy-talking voice.

I just played this video here in my office, and my cat Weezie came in and meowed. She is apparently willing to come when called remotely by your high-pitched puppy-talking voice.
My cat wasn’t at all interested in your high voice. But I’m wondering if you tried it again and if he was able to find his way to the other side this time without you practically dragging him over?
Oh, he is much smarter now and I feel certain he’d be able to get aroun dit on his own with no coaching. We did away with that barrier a few months ago and now he’s pretty well free to roam as he chooses. HE spends the day when we’re at work in his little crate but otherwise has proven he is responsible enough to be on the loose except for when he is wooed by the litter boxes. Our new game is that I hide and he has to come find me.
