this is an awesome post and i am in tandem with your beliefs.  black and white thinking/beliefs was something i had to release myself from in order to find my own way to spirituality and a &quot;god&quot; that doesn&#039;t pummel you into hell b/c you told a lie when you were 9. 

i bought pema&#039;s book, when things fall apart about ten years ago, but i never finished it.  i did research her a bit, she&#039;s got a neat story.
