Gus had a good walk today. Now when he sees other dogs he doesn’t – GUS DON’T EAT POOP! – he doesn’t freak out about wanting to see them. He’s trying to eat cat poop. Anyway, he wants to see them, but if they aren’t interested or something he just goes on his way.
Right.
What?
Nothing.
What? What’s wrong. He’s fine!
I’m sure he’s fine. I just think he’s lost some of his zest for life.
He hasn’t lost his zest for life at all! He’s right here, trying to eat cat poop out of the litter box even though I just took him away from it into another room and he came right back. He still has his zest for life! And a zest for poop. Gus has not lost his zest for poop, that’s for sure.

I read somewhere that cat poop was okay for dogs to eat because it has lots of protein. It’s the cat litter that’s not so good for them. But maybe if you get that flushable, corn husk cat litter then your dog can munch away and you never have to worry about cleaning the litter box.
