Shut up! How adorable is that? Do you know that young animals and people are deliberately created cute so that their parents don’t kill them? True story. If babies/puppies/kitten were ugly on top of being a never-ending source of sleeplessness, anxiety, destruction, etc., their mothers would kill them. It’s been scientifically proven.
XUP is right. It’s called the “cute factor.” Babies that are on their own from birth (snakes, alligators, etc.) look just like tiny adults because they don’t need parents to coddle them.
Gussy is just about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!

Holy crap that’s a cute photo. Gus is unbelievably adorable. Thank god for cute puppy pictures, it is distracting my brain from thinking about human babies and my distinct lack of them.
