My only church experiences included simple sitting and quietly consuming hard candy out of my Grandma's purse, so I was unprepared for all the sitting-standing-kneeling-affirming that went on. I am impressed that you, as a Heathen and self proclaimed at that, were yet able to have enough respect for your family, without the teachings and love of the Lord to guide you, to not just stand up and say "fuck you" while showing him the finger he's missing.
